What is Osteopathy
Osteopaths are primary health care practitioners who can diagnose, assess and treat your musculoskeletal conditions. Osteopathy is a system of manual medicine which is based on unique principles in relation to biomechanics.
About Osteopathy
Osteopaths are trained in the treatment and management of musculoskeletal type injuries. An Osteopath may provide hands on treatment, postural and ergonomic advice, diet and lifestyle advice and exercise rehabilitation.
Osteopaths may assist with a wide variety of conditions such as acute or chronic muscular pain, back and neck pain, joint injuries, headaches and migraines, shoulder and elbow pain, pregnancy related pain and pain associated with arthritic and degenerative changes.
Osteopaths treat all ages, from babies to older adults.
You don’t need a referral to see an Osteopath. You can claim Osteopathic treatment on your private health insurance extras, and we also accept Medicare care plans and DVA patients.
If you are unsure if an Osteopath can help you we offer free 10 min telehealth consultations so that you can ask any questions you may have before committing to an appointment.
