About Dana

B.App.Sc (Human Movement), B.App.Sc (Comp Medicine), M. Ost.

Montmorency Osteopathic clinic was evolved in March 2020, when the stay at home orders were put in place due to the Covid 19 pandemic. What built from there was a busy one woman practice where I was able to help my patients feel better and recover from their injuries. Since starting the clinic back in 2020, Dana has increased her hours to keep up with her patients needs. The clinic has a separate entry from the house, and has a spacious waiting room and treatment room with eftpos and hicaps facilities.

Dana has worked as both an Osteopath and Pilates Instructor at Doncaster Osteopathic Clinic from 2004 until 2010, and at Melbourne Osteopathic Clinic. She joined our team at Montmorency in 2010 and has followed us to Gateway Osteopathy.

Prior to becoming an Osteopath Dana worked at Aquarena YMCA for 8 years, where she worked as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. She finds this useful when dealing with patients that exercise in the gym environment.

Dana has completed a Degree in Human Movement Science, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Complementary Medicine (Osteopathic stream) and a Masters of Osteopathy. Dana has also studied extensively in the Pilates Method, and has worked as a mentor for instructors wanting to train to teach rehabilitation Pilates with Polestar, one of the more prestigious Pilates associations world wide.

In her spare time Dana is enjoys weightlifting, crossfit, and sometimes swimming. She also spends time with her children. Dana also practices Pilates weekly to ensure she stays strong to keep up with her busy lifestyle.
